NEW: Entre Mundos Therapeutic Bookclub

Entre Mundos is a therapeutic group focused on supporting Latine folks through the creative exploration of literature. Participants can expect to read a variety of literature by Latine authors and will be invited to explore themes of culture, community, identity, migration, and resilience.

This is an ongoing, open group, meaning that participants are able to join at any time (limited to 6 members). This group is open to Latine adults (18+) and meets monthly in Seattle.

Schedule and location: Meetings will occur on the last Monday of every month from 6:30-8:30pm. Meetings will be held in-person in South Seattle, with the possibility of meeting virtually when needed.

Cost: $30-50 per meeting (please reach out if cost is prohibitive; no one will be turned away due to inability to pay).

March Reading: Crying in the Bathroom by Erika L. Sánchez

Our group has chosen to read Crying in the Bathroom by Erika L. Sánchez as our first book. This memoir comes from the same author who wrote I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter, and explores identity, mental health, sex, feminism, and family.

April/May Reading: Our Share of Night by Mariana Enriquez

In April and May, our group will be reading Our Share of Night by Mariana Enriquez. In this powerful work of literary fiction, Enriquez integrates strong imagery and history in a story focused on family, loss, and love.
